Benelli Imperiale 400: another classic motorcycle for the A2 card with 20 hp for 3,799 euros
We are in an era in which for a few years the retro and the classic is back in fashion . Royal Enfield, Mash and other brands have used the motorcycle aesthetic hook when our grandparents took careers to make their way into the market.
Benelli, whose motorcycles we see more and more in the streets due to its competitive price, also wants to play in the field of classic motorcycles with a new model: the Imperiale 400 .
A motorcycle made to enjoy the road at a leisurely pace
It must be recognized that Benelli knows how to succeed with people’s tastes. It seems that the type of motorcycle that attracts attention and can sell is well studied. In this case they will try the Imperiale 400 and continue in the line of taking out motorcycles with an average displacement.
The Benelli Imperiale 400 is a classic design motorcycle with a single cylinder engine of 373.5 cubic centimeters that delivers a power of 20.4 hp at 5,500 rpm , has a torque of 29 Nm at 3,500 rpm and is air-cooled. With these figures it is a good motorcycle for those who have the A2 card, they like the retro world and want to get started in it.
With this motorcycle the approach is that of pure and relaxed driving. It does not have any electronic help, nor does it use LED lighting and its instrument panel is analog. Of course, by regulation it does have ABS .
Its braking system uses a 300mm double piston floating disc and a 240mm one piston disc in the front. Its spokes are made of aluminum and front have a diameter of 19 inches while behind are 18 inches. The size of their tires are 110/90 front and 130/80 behind.
Benelli does not yet indicate on its website when this motorcycle will reach Spanish dealers. It only indicates “coming soon” so maybe we start seeing it in the streets starting in August. It will be sold in black, red or silver colors and will be in launch promotion for 3,799 euros (registration not included).
