We met them just before the arrival of CES 2019 and finally arrive in our country. This is the LG Gram 14 (2-in-1 (14T990) and LG Gram 17 (17Z990) , two ultralight laptops that shine especially for one thing: its lightness.

Its low weight is one of the fundamental bets of these teams, but do not give up an impeccable technical sheet even in which there is also room for a good autonomy. You can already buy in Spain in two variants.

The lightest 17 inches in the world, say in LG

Those responsible for LG have long been betting on this family of equipment, and in the last renewal of the catalog surprised with the convertible model 2-in-1 of 14 inches, but also with the LG Gram 17 that made the jump to 17 inches . We analyzed it in Xataka recently, and here you have the result of that analysis.

That would not be so strange if it were not because the design effortmanaged to have a team with that impressive diagonal that has the global size that is almost that of a traditional 15-inch laptop.

The weight is also noteworthy because it weighs 1.34 kg , which for a model of 17 inches is a surprising figure: many teams of 13 and of course 15 inches exceed that weight.

Still the hardware bet is remarkable in these models, which integrate Intel Core 8th generation processors accompanied by up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of SSD.

The battery of 72 Wh allows LG to reach 21 hours of autonomy in the LG Gram 14 and 19.5 hours of autonomy in the LG Gram 17, although as we see in our tests that figure is designed for a team that part of time It is at rest. In our analysis we have been able to see how this autonomy is still excellent and easily exceeds 10 hours in the 17-inch model .

Maybe some miss a dedicated graphic that can give more joy in video games or intensive graphic tasks, but that was difficult in a chassis like this that is ultra-thin and especially ultralight. Even so the LG bet is remarkable especially if what interests us is to have a team that facilitates maximum mobility.
