Just a few days ago we talked about the launch of wireless headphones that surprised by the high autonomy of their batteries with about 45 hours . They were the Melomania 1 of Cambridge Audio, but they have been clearly overcome by the new bet of JLab.
This is the Epic Air Sport , a wireless model based on Bluetooth 5 connectivity with 30 meters of coverage and a duration that amounts to an amazing 70 hours , although as in the previous case this autonomy has a trick.
As usual in this type of devices, it has a basic duration in the handset itself and an extension stored in the case. In this case they offer 10 hours “native” and other 60 additional hours using the battery inserted into the sleeve with a capacity of 2600 mAh .
The headphones come with IP66 certification so they are sweat and dust proof, they have touch controls on the side and the Be Aware Audiofunction so we can hear the sound around us while we are running or doing sports on the street.
Inside each pavilion with a weight of 10 grams , neodymium drivers with a diameter of 8 mm, an impedance of 32 ohms and a frequency response between 20Hz-20kHz have been incorporated .
The sound power has been established in some more than 110 dB and the system supports the HSP / HFP / A2DP / AVRCP transmission protocols. In addition, they have a built-in microphone to answer calls from the smartphone.
